last week during a short break in the rain, i decided to take a little walk outside with my trusty camera by my side. because it was overcast, the lighting was beautiful. everything was covered with raindrops, and as i was traipsing around with my pajamas stuffed inside my rainboots (glad there’s no record of that), i was completely struck by the way the world looks through just one eye. one tiny, unbiased lens. i may not be the best photographer ever, but there’s something magical about looking through the viewfinder in a camera, adjusting shutter speed and f-stop and capturing an image. i love it.
