i love the beach. i mean love it. if i could live here (or at least have a house here), i would in a second. this week, we’ve been on st. george island (sidenote: this is where my parents met on spring break 29 years ago, but that’s another story), and i’ve been loving it. we’ve had some serious wind, but it’s been simply amazing. i’m reading my fourth book for the week – Mockingbird (A portrait of Harper Lee) – and i have loved doing nothing but read and hang out with my family all day.
in addition to this week, i’m really looking forward to the next three weeks of basically the same thing: reading and hanging out with my friends and family. i’m also really looking forward to seeing two of my favorite people say “i do” on may 22 🙂 🙂 🙂 i can’t wait to be a part of that day!!
here are a few pictures…try not to be jealous 🙂
our part of the beach 🙂
the sunset from our family friend’s dock 🙂 and one more to follow 🙂
currently listening to: the rolling of the waves that are calling my name. (what? i can’t help it – i’m an english major now!!)
