“fill us up with an expectation”

fill: to make full; put as much as can be held into

expectation: the act or state of looking forward or anticipating

those are lyrics from Charlie Hall’s song King of Heaven (Isaiah 61), and as i was just listening to it, i was struck by this plea.  put as much anticipation in us as possible.  that’s how i want to be.  i want to be full of anticipation and expectation for the things that God has in store for me.
